He won 3 Wisconsin Area Music Industry (WAMI) Awards at 20th anniversary ceremony. [9 May 2000]
He is the youngest of five children and comes from a very musical background. His father, a police detective, loved classical music.
He has one daughter, India (born 1992) with girlfriend Tami. Sadly she was killed in a car crash 15 months after India was born.
His second Warner Bros. Records release, 'A Day In The Life', was certified "Gold" by the RIAA in 2000.
Cut his trademark dreadlocks in late 2002.
Halle Berry adopted his daughter India when they were married.
