After graduating from Eldorado high school in Albuquerque New Mexico, Joe sang for different rock bands to include Rest in Peace, Stingray, and ultimately ended up with Tokyo Rose. From there he entered the University of New Mexico studying English. Upon graduation in from UNM, Joe studied at the American Academy of Dramatic Arts. While at the Academy, Joe worked for Dean Jefferies at Jefferies Automotive as a stunt assistant. In 1994, Joe joined an acting company in California and with them has performed Shakespeare across the country and gained a great love for the theater. Joe was voted best actor at UNM and at the American Academy of Dramatic Arts. In 2003, Joe took a break from the business to pursue a masters degree in Biology and go on to get a degree in nuclear medicine and radiology.
