Has both a Bachelor's and a Master's degree in Music Composition. Won a fellowship to study composition and conducting with renowned French composer Pierre Boulez. Plays several instruments, and is a trained orchestral conductor. Put himself through school by playing and singing in rock & jazz bands. Did standup comedy for two years, and taught "Comedy Traffic School." Did a sitcom pilot in 1997 for CBS (which did not air) called "The Family Business" (AKA "Family Recipe"). The show starred Ron Livingston, Megan Mullally, John Glover, and Wendi Jo Sperber. Will played "George," the local butcher, and boyfriend of Wendi Jo Sperber. It was written & produced by Linwood Boomer ("Malcolm in the Middle") and directed by Andy Ackerman ("Seinfeld"). A year later he again got to work with Megan Mullally on another pilot which was picked up -"Will & Grace."
