Dale Resteghini / Biography

Dale Resteghini's prolific work as a music video director has brought him to the forefront of his craft. His music videos are constantly found at the top of MTV, BET and FUSE play lists, and have been nominated for various awards within the music community. He has worked with a stellar list of diverse artists of today such as Fall Out Boy, Diddy, TI, Jim Jones, Unk, Hatebreed, Mudvayne, Shadows Fall, Li'l Wayne, Remy Ma, MIMS, Juelz Santana, Cypress Hill, Trivium, Sizzla, Tanya Stephens and many others all in just four years. It's interesting to note that during that time frame he has not only worked more than any other music video director but he's been compared to the medium's old masters such as Samuel Bayer, Wayne Isham, Kevin Kerslake, Dave Myers, Hype Williams and Dean Karr. Like these pioneers, Resteghini has helmed projects as far as Perth, Australia to the UK to Jamaica and other places around the world as well all over the USA. When speaking of Director Dale 'Rage' Resteghini, the one thing that people seem to agree about is that he is a true original. His style which often copied but never duplicated, has gained him world wide recognition and fans. He is clearly a man to watch if one is interested in knowing what's going to be the next hot 'thing' and he as has firmly established himself as one of the industry's most prolific and sought-after talents. His influences include Robert Aldrich, Tony Scott, Orson Welles Spielberg, Mann, Ridley Scott, Huston and some others. A native of Boston, Resteghini moved to NYC with a focus on his craft as an actor but along the way Resteghini found himself drawn away from the front of the camera to behind it where he realized he can create any world he wants. His approach was highly original and bold which allowed him to stand tall in a sea filled with talent. His videos let us see an important new artist burst upon the new Music Video Industry, an industry which has suffered in recent years due to the ever evolving music economy. Due to the accolades of his early work, Resteghini was asked to direct a video for a still unknown, Fall Out Boy and their teen anthem "Grand Theft Autumn." The resulting piece was an instant hit, drawing him immediate and broad video attention and an MTV Award. It served to propel both Fall Out Boy and Resteghini into the forefront of the rock world. Work with other top artists soon followed. In 2004 he became a founding partner of the NYC based music video production company, Raging Nation Films, Inc. Always finding inspiration from the trials and tribulations as well as the special loving moments life offers, Resteghini has developed a keen sense of adventure in seeking out unique settings for his projects.
