Phillip Justice Roebuck was born on August 2, 1971, in Norfolk, Virginia. He was the only child of a folk singer and began playing music himself at the age of twelve. He started acting in High School, and, after graduating in 1989, moved to New York City, where he would live for nearly a decade, before meeting his wife and seeing the birth of his two children - Phineas Roebuck and Ruby Lee Roebuck. Phillip later moved with his family to Los Angeles to pursue a career in the film industry. He stars in the films $6 Man, I, Am Irreversible (2008), Miss Shellagh's Miniskirt (2008), and Shaniko (2008), which he also wrote and directed.
