Colt was born in a small town in Pennsylvania on September 23, 1984. He started riding horses at the age of 5. He participated in Civil War Re-enactments through his teen years. It was these skills that enabled him at age 15 to join the cast of the movie, "The Patriot" with his father, Cliff. Colt joined the Screen Actors Guild and returned home to Pennsylvania to finish high school. He auditioned for the American Academy of Dramatic Arts in Los Angeles and was accepted for the 2003 fall term. Colt was invited back for a second year and graduated from the American Academy in May of 2005. He is represented in the industry by The Levin Agency and is currently living in Burbank, California. Colt is actively pursuing his acting career.
