Rudnick writes a monthly satirical film review column for Premiere magazine under the name "Libby Gelman-Waxner." His non-film writing includes the novels "Social Disease" and "I'll Take It, " and the plays "Poor Little Lambs, " "I Hate Hamlet" and "The Most Fabulous Story Ever Told." Uncredited re-writes to the film The Addams Family (1991). The January 25, 1988 draft of the script for _My Stepmother Is an Alien (1988)_ credits Jerico as writer, with revisions by Frank Galati, Richard Benner, Susan Rice, Herschel Weingrod & Timothy Harris, Paul Rudnick, and Debra Frank & Carl Sautter, and a further rewrite by Jonathan Reynolds. Only four of the ten writers received credits in the final film.
