Vince Russo was born in New York. Before Vince broke into the WWE, he worked for a radio station in New York City that focused on wrestling. Vince had a lucky meeting with WWE owner's wife Linda McMahon, which resulted in a job as editor for WWF Magazine. Vince also helped out in the screenwriting department until he was promoted to head writer in 1997. Famously turned the struggling WWF into a former cartoon-style product to adult oriented programme and helped WWF to beat WCW. Left WWF in 1999 when WCW made an offer Vince could not refuse and was famous for WCW demise which eventually was brought by WWF. Currently owns and runs a record store and is no longer in the wrestling business.
