Marty Ryan / Biography

Marty came to acting and show business via a rather circuitous route. After completing a degree in English from Santa Clara University he went on to earn an MBA with an emphasis in International Marketing Management from Thunderbird, The Garvin School of International Management. This led to a successful career in international business based in New York City. However, the siren of acting pulled him into a life in show business and he switched careers in mid-stream. Marty has now established himself with an impressive film, television, and commercial career. He also is an accomplished stage actor and a member of the Actors Studio. Marty also speaks fluent Italian and Spanish having lived in Italy and having spent much time traveling and working in Mexico and Spain. He grew up outside of Portland Oregon in Tigard and is the son of Jack Ryan and Beverly Ryan.
