Robert has been a member of the theatre circuit since the 1970s. He appeared in Rev. Harold Vink's Bible Folk, a PBS production in 1980. Stage work includes David in God's Favorite, Axel in Don't Drink the Water, Simon Stimson and Joe Stoddard in Our Town, several roles in A.R. Gurney's The Dining Room at the Guild Theatre, and Mr. Peirot in Pillow Talk. He appeared as u/s for the role of Francis Clarke Baird (appearing on several occasions) in Counselor at Law. He was in Hamlet 1963 as Voltemand and as u/s to Francisco. He went on to receive acclaim for his comic turn as the Prince of Arragon, and The Duke in GRE's Merchant of Venice. He portrayed and Caithness in Macbeth, and scored kudos as The Knight in Doctor Faustus and Theseus in A Midsummer Night's Dream. Other appearances include Sir Politic in Volpone, the soothsayer in Julius Caesar, and a regular with Straightjacket Required. He appeared as the ever-clueless Master Slender in GRE's production of The Merry Wives of Windsor. Robert is a radio and television voice-over artist in New York City.
