Grandson of the actor José Soveral. Studied architecture in the university of Lisboa, Portugal, and started working as an architect on 1985. His acting career began in the film A Clean, Well-Lighted Place directed by William Alspaugh, as the main actor.
Studied performing arts in different workshops at ACT - School of Actores, in Lisbon. Since 2002 he is acting in various TV novels and TV series in Portugal.
