Ezra J. Stanley is one of San Francisco's busiest multi-talented artists. Coming from parents of the beautiful country Belize, his father of Mayan and Mexican descent, and mother of Garifuna (black Carib) descent allow for his extraordinarily versatile casting. He has modeled as an American Indian for children's books, and has been cast as Spanish, Black, and Filipino over the past decade and half. He loves to do voice-overs giving him the liberty to do his many accents, cartoon characters, and personas for corporations. His slight youthfulness combined with voice artistry gives him range to be cast for camera and voice work from age sixteen to thirty five!Growing up in front of the camera inspired Stanley to go behind it for an additional career. While working on his BA in Film at San Francisco State University he met fellow filmmaker and cinematographer Alejandro Wilkins. After years of working on shorts together, the two co-founded AboveGrey Pictures. Ezra is the director and co-writer of the company's first film, A Love In Progress. The 19 minute short was an official selection of the 2005 Alameda International Film Festival. He's the writer-director of Mindscape, a music video\short for Age of Aggression. Mindscape recently debuted as one of the only two music videos at the 2006 Hollywood Black Film Festival. He also designs and directs shows to entertain audiences that number into the thousands. Ezra's eclectic life has led him to extend his writing talents beyond films. He is the author of the racy experimental novel How to Enjoy Life on Earth by Wise King Solomon, which he finished before his twenty-first birthday.
