Kevin's first time speaking in front of a large crowd was at his eighth grade graduation at St. Gerald School in Oak Lawn, Illinois. From that day on, he was "addicted" to speaking in open forums and sought larger groups to entertain and/or inform. After receiving a two-year degree in science from Moraine Valley Community College in Palos Hills, he received a B.S. from Illinois State University in math with endorsements to teach. He then went back to Moraine Valley, but this time as a math instructor. On the side, he took acting classes, performed at open mics, did stand-up at small clubs, and became a regular on Chicago's Cable Access "The Gentleman Growchowski Show". In May of 2003, he moved to Los Angeles to pursue fame. Says Kevin, "Fame is more important to me than money. I'm not sure why, but...I'll take 'em both.".He began his LA experience performing at various variety shows and open mic nights, doing stand-up comedy at small venues, playing the guitar and doing card tricks on Venice Beach, entering (and winning) turkey gobbling contests, attending animal welfare events like "Right to Arm Bears", and speaking and/or performing in front of a crowd whenever the opportunity presented itself. His first time in front of a large crowd of people in LA was on the Steve Harvey's "Big Time" stage. When the audience was asked if any brave souls wanted to come to the stage and tell a joke, Suscavage was one of the few. With his joke, the audience had first gave quite a negative, mocking response. Determined and even more exited, he paused and told another one. Slowly, applause filled the room. "I just love the attention," says Kevin. "Even if the crowd is reacting negatively, there is still a reaction, emotions are being passed around...it's art."He then got a role in an episode of National Lampoon's, Master Debaters where he played a zany math professor. His next endeavor was a speaking role on the independent film, All That I Need, which made it to the Cannes Film Festival in France, and was shown in selected movie theaters around America in December 2005. Tony Tarantino was also part of the cast. While promoting the movie, he received some publicity for a couple surprising "stunts". More detail can be found at www.geocities.com/kevinsuscavageKevin had also interned at various offices in the "biz" including Burrows Boland Casting, when they were casting for Resident Evil 3. During this time, he secured an agent, Jack Scagnetti, who had represented Quentin Tarantino in his earlier years. The next project was the film "Nerd Boy", where Kevin played the only white person working in an African-American barber shop. The movie will come to DVD soon. Next up is a short mockumentary of a famous movie (hint...it's about animals) which will appear on myspace.com, youtube.com, and many other video outlets. Furthermore, Kevin's working on a solo music project which he describes as (U2 meets metal). The project is called "Flogging Hilton" and will be on Myspace Music. Lastly, Suscavage recently started an internet radio talk show with "Bogart Media" that is now broadcasted around the world.
