Richard Sutton / Biography

Born in Birmingham, England in the late 70s, Richard wanted to be an actor from a very early age. He was named after the character Dick Whittington which was showing at a local theatre around the time that he was born. Richard has extensive theatre credits but prefers working on screen. In 2004, he took on the role of war hero Private Clive Tonry in BBC 2's Dunkirk, which received critical acclaim and had the highest ratings for BBC 2 ever at the time. He lives divides his time between his flat in Brighton and his home in London.
