Ad Bol / Biography

While graduating from the University of Amsterdam with a degree in International Communications, Ad Bol simultaneously combined music, paintings, photography and film in his art. He decided to evolve his visual style at the Rietveld Art Academie in Amsterdam.Ad's work has a distinctive European style, combining aggressively clever storytelling, well developed characters and humor. His visually sophisticated and edgy film style builds a story from a sense of drama and simmering sensuality.After directing commercial films for companies as ING Bank, Adidas, Canal+, and L'Oreal, Bol wrote and directed the feature film Castingx (2005).
