Branko Tomovic was born on June 17, 1977, in Münster, Germany, to Serbian parents. He studied acting at the prestigious Lee Strasberg Theatre Institute in New York City and was first seen on the screen in the lead role of the film Remote Control (2001), produced by the American Film Institute, which was among the finalists for a Student Academy Award in 2002. He has worked with internationally respected film directors like, e.g., Ken Loach and Paul Greengrass and currently lives in London.
