Bio by Darius Anthony, Writer & Director, "The Devil's Punchbowl":
Born on Cape Cod, the extraordinary Tom Trudeau spent most of his life in New Mexico. While there, the acting bug hit him early. A veteran of the stage, Mr. Trudeau is classically trained, having tackled such challenging material as 'Hamlet', 'King Lear' and 'King Richard III.
In addition, he's been featured in several independent films and a number of television programs. Never one to turn down an acting challenge, Tom has also displayed his talent in several music videos, commercials and documentaries.
For the role of "Jake" Tom definitely brought his 'A' game. Tom was able to give the character a sense of quiet dignity. He made us care about and gave a sense of humanity to, a highway predator. Tom has the unique ability to be terrifying yet sensitive. When he assumes a role for the screen he doesn't play a character, he becomes the character.
Mr. Trudeau's dedication to his craft is unparalleled. His willingness to work day and night to do whatever it takes positions Tom head and shoulders above the rest of the field. Tom always comes to set prepared, focused, and ready to give his all. Young actors working on the film stood in awe, as he slowly, methodically and seamlessly transported himself into the role of "Jake." We were honored to have him as a member of the cast, and more honored to call him friend.
