Bookey completed his first film acting project, "Attack of the Killer Bean Bags, " in 7th grade with two friends. The 8mm color, sync-sound piece borrowed from "Alien, " "The Blob, " and Fellini's "Roma." Having traveled and lived in both India and Japan, Bookey's influences include directing legends Satyajit Ray, Akira Kurosawa, and Rod Serling, as well as actors Kevin Spacey and Gary Oldman. Bookey holds degrees in communications (UCSD), law (BU) and public relations (BU).
