Michael Albanese / Biography

Michael Albanese is co-founder and managing partner of Zenith Film Group, LLC, a film and theater production company.Originally an actor from Marietta, Georgia, he landed a handful of roles in film, television and stage, including the critically acclaimed independent feature film, Sleepover (1995), for which he was also an associate producer. The film boasts an original score by the late, great Jeff Buckley.His first play, "Red Herring" was produced in the Fall of 2006 and won "Most Outstanding Play of the Summer" and "Best Director". It featured Thomas Jefferson Byrd and Shane McRae.His screenplay, "The Last Caller" is in development with Hilary Shor ("Children of Men") and Nicholas Cokas of Zenith Film Group with Katharine McPhee attached.
