Sascha was born in Rotterdam, Zuid-Holland, Netherlands on October 19th, 1988. A co-worker of a Dutch casting-agency spotted him while he was on the phone calling somebody. He was asked to do audition for a guest appearance in "Ben zo terug" (1999). Later on he successfully auditioned for a new character in _"Oppassen!!!" (1990)_. He got the role of Sander de Hert, which he played in the last three years of this long-running sitcom. He combinated acting with playing soccer for Feyenoord, a professional Dutch team. Starting in January 2004 he will play Steven Speier in another Dutch sitcom, "Kees & Co." (1997).
