Trivia Update / From: Todd Grimshaw
Here's some trivia. Brian appeared in dozens of episodes of Home and Away over from 1998 - 2003. He first appeared with the credit as "Doctor" in 1998 with Kristy Wright. After that, they gave him the name of Doctor Wilson and even though he wasn't a permanent cast member, he managed to stay in the show for nearly five years! During this time Dr Wilson's first name was revealed when Charlotte (the other doctor) called him by his first name. Dr Wilson handled Shauna's pace maker, Leah's AIDS scare, Gypsy's mental problem, Brodie's brain surgery, Rhys's collapse, Sophie and Sally's baby drama and he also appeared in the famous mudslide and lost at sea episodes to name a few. Why Home and Away didn't allow his character to grow remains a mystery. To date he was the longest serving semi regular cast member.
