Brother of singer Tanita Tikaram. Ramon was invited by Elton John to appear in his video for the song "Something about the Way you Look Tonight' along with fellow "This Life" (1996) cast members. Holds a First Class Honours degree. As a young child, he was raised in Germany, before the family relocated to England in the early 1980s. His father was an Indian-Fijian British Army officer, his mother is Malaysian.
