Bernard White has appeared in many current television series, including: "24" (2001), "The West Wing" (1999) and "Alias" (2001), and is currently filming 'Garry Marshall's Raising Helen (2004). Recent television work includes "JAG" (1985) (3-episode 2003 season finale), "The Agency" (2001),"Practice, The" (1997)_, "The Guardian" (2001) and _"C.S.I.: Miami" (2002)_.Last year, he directed his first film, The Want (2001) which he also wrote. In addition he has penned several screenplays, and a multitude of stage plays, many of which were produced in Los Angeles. He also founded 'Plymouth', a flourishing experimental theatre company in Hollywood. He began his career on daytime television with contract roles on "General Hospital" (1963), "Santa Barbara" (1984) and "Days of Our Lives" (1965). An American citizen, born in Sri Lanka, White is a graduate of Michigan State University, currently lives in Los Angeles and is married to French actress Nathalie Canessa-White.
