He earned a BA from the University of California at Berkeley and an MBA with honors from the UCLA School of Management.
In 1987, he founded Avenue Pictures, of which he is chairman and CEO. He has been president and CEO of Avenue Entertainment Group since 1994. He also is supervisor of Avenue Pictures Television.
He and his wife, Christine, have four daughters.
