He speaks Italian, Romanian, English, French and he is learning Spanish. He practices Yoga regularly. He has Italian, Romanian and since 2005 American citizenship. In May 2006 he opened and Art Exposition with 15 Paintings and 8 Fired Clay sculptures of his own at the Hamilton Galleries in Santa Monica. In 1998, he published the novel "Tomorrow I was nothing, yesterday I will be" Formerly a vegetarian. Wrote & Played some piano pieces on his best friend, David Morgenstein's last CD. The first cut of his first movie shot in US, Imaginary friend (2004), was shown to the public at the Leammle's Theatres in August 2004. The film received great reviews in LA Weekly and Los Angles Times and Marcello won a full scholarship for New York Film Academy. He is an active volunteer for Leukemia Research Foundation, UNICEF, The National Breast Cancer Foundation and Project Angel Food Los Angeles and Red Cross. He has a Master from Universita Di Milano in Political Science and a B.A in Sociology. He plays Tennis regularly. His grandfather had to change his name because of the communist régime. He still signs his scripts and novels in the memory of his grandfather. His has Italian and Transylvanian Gipsy Heritage.
