Born in Sydney Australia, Alexander (or Alex as he is better known) trained at the Australian Theatre For Young People with future stars like Nicole Kidman. Alex went on to star alongside Nicole on stage and in the 1980s Australian teen flick, _Watch the Shadows Dance (1986)_. He acted in many Australian films and TV series during the 1980s and 90s (including Neighbours) before relocating to South Africa in 1995. He has also enjoyed considerable success as a writer with his play PICK UPS enjoying hit seasons in Australia, South Africa and England. His play JUST ONCE, written with his sister Charlotte, won the Sydney Theatre Company's Young Playwright's Scheme in 1986 and another play DESIRE played to packed houses in Australia.
