Attended the same high school as Edward Norton. Attended United States Military Academy at West Point to play football. Opted not to stay. He is half American Indian (Menominee/Cherokee) and Swedish/Dutch. Studied at The Studio Theatre Conservatory in Washington DC, among other places.
