A confused yet imaginative kid growing up, Todd spent many days acting out his own movies with his extensive G.I. Joe collection and killing a lot of insects. He attributes most of his creative output today on those early days of small town isolation and boredom. After high school, Todd spent a short stint at Ohio State University before casting aside his collegiate goals with dreams of making it big on and off the silver screens of Hollywood. He has just completed two feature length screenplays.
Todd was born in Watertown, New York, where he lived until early 1981. At that time his family relocated to Concord, North Carolina, where he quickly became involved in auto racing. Todd's racing career spanned over 10 years capturing over 100 wins and 2 championships before he turned his sights to entertainment. In 1998 he was spotted by a casting director and began to study acting. After making appearances in a few commercials, a PBS special and other small features, Todd turned his sights full time toward his music. In 2002 his debut release with the band Withstand was released titled "Brookshire Freeway" and a second release in 2004 titled "Nothing". Working on movie soundtracks in 2004, he was once again taken in by desire to perform in front of the camera. Taking on movie roles in projects for 2004 and beyond Todd has combined his position as an actor and musican/composer.
