He and former MTV host Tom Green are both graduates of The Algonquin College Television Broadcasting Program (Class of 95). Worked in the media office of Canadian Prime Minister, Jean Chretien while studying broadcasting in Ottawa. He has hosted many high profile events throughout Canada including Toronto's Distillery Jazz Festival, Molson Indy Street Party Vancouver, Molson Indy Street Party Toronto, and Canada Day 2003 at Downsview Park, which attracted over 60,000 party goers.
