Choreographed and filmed the fight scene with the King of the Gypsy Moths (Keith Kozel) over a 2 day period on Wilmington Island in Savannah Georgia. Is a master of the Martial Arts weapon the nunchacku, a Chinese grain flail. Appears in an earlier White Rod episode as the Devil in White Rod's (David Love) dream. Was the stunt driver in the scene where Ellen Mason (Allan Mason) is killed by a crazed White Rod. Enjoys the shooting sport Sporting Clays, and currently shoots in the 50-60 point scoring range. Once a month he visits the PG Trap and Skeet club in PG County Maryland, where he continues to improve his score. Is an avid fan of Sci-Fi shows, and admits that Stargate SG-1 has surpassed his favorite show of all time (Star Trek: The Original Series) as his all-time favorite Sci-Fi show. Attended the 3rd Star Trek Convention ever, in Washington, DC at the Washington Hilton where President Reagan was shot. And has attended Sci-Fi Conventions regularly ever since. Has been to Dragon*Con in Atlanta, Shore-Leave and Farpoint in Baltimore and the third Star Trek con in DC. The Mockumentary for White Rod was debuted at Dragon*Con although Jay was unable to attend that year. He is a collector of Sci-Fi memorabilia, mostly props including, items from Star Trek: The Original Series, and Star Wars. Prefers props of the "Hero" type that have working lights and sounds to wear with his impressive costume collection. Favorite holiday is Halloween, for which he has an extensive and growing collection of costumes. Costumes include: All three colors of shirts from Star Trek: The Original Series, a colonial warrior's costume from Battlestar Galactica: The Original Series, a Stormtrooper costume from Star Wars and, a 17th Century Musketeer costume including tabard, feathered cavalier hat, and rapier. Aside from being considered a Trekkie, he is also a Rennie. That is someone who enjoys renaissance festivals. He can often be seen at the Maryland Renaissance Festival in Crownsville, Maryland (near Annapolis). He has also been seen at the Pennsylvania Renaissance Festival, but admits he prefers the Md. festival overall. He wears the costume of a 17th century chevalier and tabard of a Musketeer when in attendance. Favorite act at the Maryland Renaissance festival, is the Rogues, a most excellent Scottish Pipe and Drum band.
