Pierluigi Bruno was born in the west side of South Italy in a small village placed in the Vallo di Diano's Hills but raised up in the northern city of Bologna although loves big squares like Los Angeles & New York or Moscow & St. Petersburg as places to live in. His father is a French language teacher and his mother is a former Treasury department's archivist. His debut was in Rotta per il Pilastro (1997) directed by Renato De Maria and Enza Negroni after he attended their Film Lab for two years in Bologna, Italy.
