Jake Shears / Biography

Collaborated with James Wolf and wrote "I Believe In You" for Kylie Minogue.
Has been vocalist for alternative band "Scissor Scissors" since 2002. As he and his fellow band members Babydaddy and Del Marquis are openly gay, the group has become popular in the gay and lesbian community.
Attended Occidental College in Los Angeles.
The Scissor Sister's single "I Don't Feel like Dancin" reached #1 in UK single charts as well as in Germany and Spain (2006).
Is musically influenced by Duran Duran, Roxy Music and Dolly Parton.
