Enzo Squillino Jr, was born in Sheffield, Yorkshire of English - Italian parentage. He was trained at the Mountview Theatre Academy in London. He first gained fame for his role in "Buddy, the Buddy Holly Story "(1989) as 50's rock'n'roll singer Ritchie Valens (of La Bamba fame)- which gained him much critical acclaim - but he gained his reputation as a volatile & comic actor as cockney wide boy "George Andreotti" in the hit television drama series "The Knock" (1994) (1994 -2000)for Granada LWT international. Married Jaimie Allison, daughter of record producer and writer "Michael Allison" who wrote hits for Cliff Richard on the "I'm Nearly Famous" album.
Many of his other stage credits include the West End and Broadway hit Saturday Night Fever, the stage musical for Director Arlene Phillips (OBE) as hot tempered Frank Manero senior and Tony Manero's paint shop boss Mr Fusco.On screen, movie of the week Judas on the American Broadcasting Company (abc), for Paramount, playing the role of James starring a UK and US cast with Johnathon Schaech, in the title role. Tim Matheson, Bob Gunton, Enzo Squillino, Jr., Owen Teale, Suzanne Bertish, Diane Keene and Jonathan Scarfe. The movie was written by award winning writer & producer Tom Fontana of "Homicide: Life on the Street".
