Jay Bunyan / Biography

He has a sister who is half Tongan.
Before his career took off he used to be a clown, entertaining young children on the weekends at a local supermarket.
Due to the success of The Packer, he was offered a movie role but had to turn it down due to "Neighbours" (1985).
His best friend, Dianna Fuemana, whom he took to the 2003 Logie Awards, is also the writer/director of his last play, The Packer.
Was lined up for a role in "Power Rangers Ninja Storm" (2003) and a Canadian action movie before deciding to take the role in "Neighbours" (1985).
