David Cormican was born and raised in Lethbridge, Alberta to his parents Gloria & Michael. He is the second of four children - his elder brother Sean, and his two younger sisters Aileen & Richael. He is the only sibling in his family to sport a non-Irish name (as he was named after his grandfather and uncle on his mother's side).David's first encounters with acting started with musicals at Catholic Central High School, in a production of Camelot, where he quickly earned his stripes becoming one of program director Peter Mueller's "drama thugs".Since then David has been a devoted actor, graduating from several art schools, including Grant MacEwan College's Theatre Arts Program (Edmonton, AB), Ireland's National Gaiety School of Acting (Dublin), and the New York Film Academy (New York City). He continues to hone his craft on the stage and screen, while expanding his talents to the page as a writer and series creator, as well as behind-the-scenes producing.
