World-record holder in the 100-meter freestyle (short course), 100-meter butterfly (short and long course) and the 4x100 medley relay.

Was the second man to beat Michael Phelps at the 2004 Olympic Trials (after Texas teammate Aaron Peirsol) when he smashed his own world-record in the 100-meter fly in 50.76. Phelps has had a poster of Crocker up in his bedroom since Crocker took the 100-meter fly WR from him at the 2003 World Championships.
Part of the "Texas Trio," with fellow UT teammates Aaron Peirsol and Brendan Hansen. Each are world-record holders in their respective strokes and dominated their events in college. They share the world-record in the 4x100 medley relay.
