David Caprita was born a Navy brat in Jacksonville, Florida. He grew up in Pensacola, Florida and attended Milton High School there. He majored in music theory and composition at the University of Southern Mississippi.David began his performing career in radio as a disc jockey across the country, including Miami, Seattle and Los Angeles. He began acting in the late eighties in the Miami area, where he received his first credits.He was nominated for Florida's Carbonell Award in 2000 for his performance in Tracy Letts' "Killer Joe". David is currently living in Los Angeles as an actor, writer and a performer/writer of the Sanford Meisner Center in North Hollywood, California.
