He was born in Cairo, Egypt on May 30th, 1983. At the age of one, Fady Moved to Paris, France and lived there for 4 years before moving back to Cairo in 1987. His father George Kerko and his mother Janet Moussa worked for a small airline in Egypt which explains why he had to move frequently. His father decided it was time to move back to Egypt, because he was afraid that Fady spoke nothing, but French, and he wanted him to speak Arabic. In the summer of 1997, he moved to Venice, FL with his family. He enrolled in high school drama in his junior year. Since then he became very active as a Thespian and enjoyed the theater. Fady realized he needed to choose between Soccer and Acting. He received a small soccer scholarship from Florida International University, but rejected it and decided to go to University of South Florida to be closer to his family. His dream was to become a famous soccer player for the Egyptian National Team, but unfortunately that never happened because of relocation. He speaks fluent Egyptian Arabic and some French and Italian. Because of his diverse features, people mistake him for Italian or Latin descent. His father is Armenian and His mother is half Egyptian and Half Cyprian Greek. He is related to actor Victor Iemolo His first role was in the play "The Heart and The Lion" as Maxwell, a man turned dog. His acting instructor told him he had a very low voice and that he needed to be louder. In his senior year, he won the best supporting actor award in a main stage for the play "Just Desserts" for his role as Mr. Simms and in "The diary of Anne Frank" as Peter.
