Dwight was born on Marine Corps Base Camp Pendelton, in southern California. He attended six different schools before graduating from Vista High School, Vista, California in 2001. Dwight is the son of Ike and Karyl Ketchum, both from Michigan. His father is a retired Special Forces Marine of 23 years and his mother, a school administrator/educator of 31 years. Dwight has an older sister who teaches in a drug and alcohol rehabilitation center in Michigan. He was raised with the philosophy that anything is possible through desire, dedication and hard work.
