Akil Kurji / Biography

At the young age of 16 Akil Kurji knew he wanted to become a film producer. Through his ambitions and diligent endeavors he formed his own production company called Ice Water Productions.He has studied film at the University of Texas at Austin and is now attending the University of Miami majoring in Economics and Motion Pictures. He made his first feature film at the age of 19 titled Aaj Kal (2007) and has continued to engage in new and exciting projects of which include Tremens and comedy film Not Another Indian Movie (2008).
