Went to school at Iolani High School in Hawaii Attended Northwestern University, Evanston, Illinois as theater major, graduating in 1970. He has been in over 180 projects, including extensive cartoon voice-over work, and starred as "Admiral Nakamura" on "Star Trek: The Next Generation" (1987). Has played a judge in 14 different productions, from a judge in LA Law in 1987 to judge Matsumura in Boston Legal in 2006.
