Viviane Carneiro is the mother of his eldest son, Luke
Has twin boys with Susie Bick named Arthur and Earl.
Sung his beautiful ballad "Into My Arms" at the funeral of 'Michael Hutchence' (during which someone tried to throw themselves off a balcony). The funeral was filmed for TV, but out of respect for Hutchence, Cave refused to allow his song to be recorded.
Auditioned for the part of Patrick Channing in "The First Power" (1990).
Author of the books 'And The Ass Saw The Angel' and 'King Ink'.
Shot to fame in the 1980s as head of band "The Birthday Party" and climbed to greater prominence in the 1990's with "Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds", where he recorded a duet with Australian superstar Kylie Minogue, "Where The Wild Roses Grow" (1995).
Left Australia in the 1980 and has not lived there since then.
Winner of the 2005 Q Classic Songwriter Award.
