Born in Plymouth, England, on the 15th November 1988. Like many other directors, Craig first discovered his interest in moviemaking when he picked up his dad's HI-8 camcorder and started making movies with his friends and family. However, Craig never thought of this as a possible career. Instead he always aspired to become an airline pilot or a member of the emergency services in particular, Paramedic. For a number of years Craig was undecided about what he wanted to do, but it was when he discovered that train drivers earn more in a year than paramedics that he decided to reconsider his aspirations. Before deciding to follow the path of airline pilot, he remembered what made him want to become a paramedic in the first place. It was Martin Scorsese's Bringing out the Dead. It was here (2000) that Craig rediscovered his passion for making films. Fellow friend and media colleague, Chris Mayne, devised a couple of productions including the TV comedy, Today's World and the upcoming mocku-thriller, Point.45. It was these productions that spawned SmFILMS, or more commonly known today as Switchblade Maniac LTD. Since then Craig has produced a number of successful productions, including music videos, commercials, short films and digital art presentations. Craig recently said he wants to be a successful filmmaker, "but not too big, like Spielberg because I don't want heavy studio execs crippling my creative control". He still wants to learn how to fly a 747 though.
