Having dropping out of School at the age of fourteen, due to personal and family problems, Brendan joined the Off The Ground Youth Theatre in West Kirby, Merseyside, after a two year gap from any form of Eduction.He trained with the Off The Ground Youth Theatre until 2001, and while he was with them, he was encouraged by his mother, Gail McCoy, to join the Wirral Metropolitan College, Merseyside, to tryout his GCSE exams, that he had missed out on by leaving School early, even if it was only to do Acting related exams.Having finally got GCSEs in English Language, English Literature, Expressive Arts, Drama And Theatre Studies, He went on to do a BTEC National Diploma in Performing Arts and an A Level in Theatre Studies at Wirral Metropolitan College, and Graduated as their Student of the Year.He was awarded a Gold Medal in Acting From the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Arts, and went on to train at Bretton Hall, West Yorkshire, for his BA(Hons) Degree in Acting.He now works professionally as an Actor (mainly in British Theatre) and as an Alternative Model.
