Robert D. Morais is a Directors Guild of Canada (DGC) 1st Assistant Director and Production Manager, an award-winning film producer, a former world champion ballroom dancer and a new director (2006).Robert studied dance privately at a very young age and later on at l'Université du Québec à Montréal (UQAM). He danced: Québec folklore, ballroom [international modern & latin], ballet, tap, modern [José Limon & Martha Graham] & baroque.After his studies in dancing, he danced, choreographed, production managed, produced, first'ed and directed several projects. His love of the movies and story-telling is what makes him love this art-form above all the others.He is in pre-production for several of his own projects. One of which is entitled : 'Sounds Like Fame' a short film about sound, using the latest technology of 7:1 Dolby Surround. His hope for this movie is to have people experience sound in a marvelous new way, promising to break "the sonic barrier". Just like the old Phase 4 Stereo records by London Records used to do in the 60s.
