Gabor Koltai is one of the top young producers in Central Europe. Based in Budapest, Hungary Gabor is the son of two of Hungary's best known actors', Robert Koltai and Judit Pogany. He is a trained economist who turned his financial and creative talent to filmmaking and has made a name for himself in Europe's fastest growing market.Koltai is currently co producing the 12 million dollar Holocaust epic, "The Flower of the Fence" starring Richard Dreyfuss and Maia Morgenstern. The motion picture is being produced with Atlantic Overseas Pictures in New York with principal photography set for fall 2007 in Hungary. He is also co producing with AOP the 30 million dollar blockbuster, "Hunyadi: Sword Of God." The historical action film will chronicle one of Europe's greatest warriors.Koltai has worked as producer on the critically acclaimed Hungarian film, "Colossal Sensation (aka Világszám!)". He is presently in pre-production for the Hungarian film "Casting aka Valogatas)" with top local comedian Andras Kern. Also the theatrical release of his latest feature (the countryside comedy, "The train keeps a rollin', aka Megy a gözös)" directed by his father and starred by nearly all of today's most celebrated talents of Hungary is set for fall 2007. He has also worked as high level financial professional at both KPMG Hungary and Teva Pharmaceuticals.Gabor Koltai is the owner of Filmsziget Productions Ltd. and EuroCo-Productions Ltd. in Hungary. He resides in Budapest with is wife, Angéla and newborn son Máté.
