After graduating with a degree in Art/Semiotics from Brown University, Justin (Judd) Cherry began working in the industry as an intern to producer Laura Ziskin (Spider-Man, Pretty Woman, What About Bob, etc.). He was subsequently hired on as the writer's assistant on Spider-Man 2, working closely with Alvin Sargent (2 time Academy Award winner: Adapted Screenplay - Julia and Paper Moon). Shortly into his time working with Sargent, Cherry proved his writing skill and was afforded the honor of having several scenes he'd written included in the final shooting draft of Spider-Man 2, including the oft-quoted last line of the film, "Go get 'em, Tiger." After spending much of 2004 on Spider-Man 2, Judd promptly began working for then up-and-coming director, Shawn Levy. He has since assisted Levy on several film and television projects including the hit Steve Martin comedy, The Pink Panther, The WB's hot new Rebecca Romijn dramedy, Pepper Dennis (set to air April 4th, 2006), and is now working on the 20th Century Fox Action/Adventure/Comedy, Night At The Museum, starring Ben Stiller, Robin Williams, Dick Van Dyke, Mickey Rooney, Ricky Gervais and Paul Rudd. Night is set to release December of 2006 and is shooting in New York and Vancouver.Cherry currently resides in Marina Del Rey, California with soon-to-be famous action star, Alec Shane and soon-to-be famous producer, Josh Gallegos.
