Born and bred in the American Mid-West, Ron struck out for the bright lights of New York City while still a teen. Ron made a splash in the then burgeoning punk rock scene of the 70s as well as appearing in off-Broadway fare. Ron's next move was to the Left Coast and Hollywood. Though hardly a household name, Ron did attain moderate success as a "B" movie action star in the 80s and 90s. However, he found more success internationally than in his native US, gaining cult like status in Europe, Asia and the Middle East. Ron's greatest success, though, came in the music field. Ron's band The Blame had several chart successes in the US as well as internationally. Ron retired to the Ozarks with his wife and children in 2005. Ron continues to write, record and occasionally perform his blend of rock/country/folk/blues or Americana in the Branson area as a solo artist.
