Since attending art school, Jake has completed and screened many short films and three "short features". Jake prides himself on walking the line between what is considered artistic and what is popular and his films reflect this struggle. He is married to 'Bre Vander Ark', his girlfriend and production designer of five years who is currently attending the American Film Institute.
