Antoin Cox was born on April 24th 1974 in a small village in the east of Holland. After moving to Amsterdam he started studying sound at the Dutch film and television academy in 1995. During his study he already worked on small productions, including documentaries abroad. In 1999 he graduated and at age 25 this was also the year of his first big feature film, Eddy Terstals 'Rent a friend'. Ever since he has been working non-stop on Dutch features, some European Features, TV series and traveling around the world doing documentaries. Due to the small ADR budgets in The Netherlands he specializes in recording useful Sync dialog (in some movies over 95%) Antoin also did a fair bit of mixing (features and documentaries) and sound design. At the beginning of 2005 he added an Aaton Cantar hard disk recorder to his already extensive set of equipment.
